it all started with the pomodoro, the humble tomato that's the heart of every great pizza and "pommy", a playful nickname for brits.

it's a nod to our roots, new york style pizza made with italian passion and served with a british twist. because good pizza starts with good tomatoes and great pizza starts with Pommy's.

because it's italian at it's core, it all kicked off in 1905 when a guy named Gennaro Lombardi - straight outta Naples - opened the first pizza shop in Manhattan, New York.

he took old-school italian tradition, threw it in the oven and served it by the slice to hungry workers in Manhattan.
